Kids Day at the Market is Here!

Today is the day – It’s our Annual Kids Day at the market, sponsored by Holly Ridge Center. We have so much fun in store for kids of all ages!

In addition to our regular market vendors, we will have kid vendors, crafts, and our monthly Kids Market Bucks Club activity where kids 3yrs to 12yrs can earn $4 towards fresh produce at our farm vendors. It’s a fun day for the whole family!

Community booths & special activities for the day include:

  • Kids Market Bucks Club activity for July – “The Impact of Garbage” led by Kitsap County Public Works. Did you know that most living organisms produce waste products that are safely recycled by the ecosphere? Did you also know that humans are the only species that produce unnatural waste (and we produce it in HUGE quantities)? Basically, this means that we humans create lots and LOTS of trash. What do you throw away? Come learn about all the ways trash happens and how we can all be better stewards of our environment!
  • Holly Ridge Center (2019 Kids Day Sponsor!) – Kids activities & special giveaways
  • Live Music by Megan & Heidi
