Thursday, August 26th @ Evergreen Park, 4-7 pm

Thursday, August 26, 2021
4-7 pm
Evergreen Park, 1400 Park Ave, Bremerton WA

Today is a big day at the Market! Come on out and celebrate a new school year with us! We’ll have 11 community booths, kids activities, music, and more! Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Backpack Brigade.

Mask Update:
The Department of Health “strongly recommends individuals wear masks in crowded outdoor settings, such as outdoor concerts, fairs and farmers markets.” Our vendors will again be required to wear masks, we ask that visitors to the market do as well. Thank you for doing what you can to stop the spread of Covid-19!

Today’s Musician: The Hurdy Gurdy man will be with us one last time this season. Remember to bring cash to reward him for his talents and time.

Vendor Update: Pedro’s Santa Maria Style BBQ will be joining us for the first time this season! If you haven’t made it out to the Port Orchard farmers market to try their delicious food, here’s your chance!
This is the last week to catch Diane’s Dezines at our market so be sure to come out and get some beautiful glass jewelry or home decor for yourself or for a gift! If you can’t make it out today, you can still find her at the Port Orchard farmers market on Saturdays.

Save The Date!
We’ve been invited to hold a market at the Blackberry Festival! On Sunday, September 5th we’ll be set up on 2nd Street, between Pacific and Washington, from Noon until 5:00pm. We’ll have Bothering Nature Photography, Bremerton Produce Co., Casey’s Cookies, Catalyst Public Schools, Crusty Crumbs Bakery, Davis Farm, Frannie Maes Foods, Fuentes Farm, Little Bee Home, Music Discovery Center, Mythical Confection, RNR Originals, and Taylor’s Honey Farm. Be sure to stop by on your way down to the boardwalk!

Farmers Market Nutrition Program Applications
Applications are still available for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program! This program provides $40 worth of checks for eligible seniors to use at farmers markets throughout Kitsap County. Stop by the Market Booth to pick up an application or go to www.mealsonwheelskitsap.org.

Kid’s Market Club
This is the last week to turn in August’s take-home activity! The first Thursday of June, July, August, and September, we’ll have a Grab and Go Activity for Kids OR Parents to pick up and take home. Kids ages 3-12 complete their activity at home and return to our Kids Club booth, show us it’s been completed, and receive $4 in special Kids Market Club BUCKS on ANY Thursday for the REST of that month. The beginning of each month starts a new Kids Market Bucks Activity. Kids Market Bucks can be used to buy fresh fruits, veggies, and edible plant starts. Kids who complete ALL 4 activities will receive a special reward at the end of the season.
