Chef at the Market

We have another fun market day planned for you today from 3:30pm to 6:30pm down at Evergreen Park. Monica Downen, local chef and owner of Monica’s Waterfront Bakery & Café, will be joining us for our July Chef at the Market event. She will be working her culinary magic on fresh products found at our farm vendors stalls this week – products that you can easily acquire and try out in your own homes. Demos take place at 5pm and 6pm under the Chef at the Market tent, sponsored this season by our partners at Peninsula Community Health Services, Molina Healthcare, and The Manette Clinic. Make sure to stick around after the demo and sample her creations!

As always, we offer the Fresh Bucks matching program. For every $5 in EBT a SNAP customer takes out at market they will receive $2 extra in Fresh Bucks to purchase even more fresh fruits & veggies. Just visit our market info booth for full information and how to get started.

We hope to see you at market!
