We’ve got lots of great things in store this Thursday at the Market! Join us for our Children’s Gardening Classes, Chef at the Market demos, or bring a favorite instrument to play during the Acoustic Jam at the Market!

A special THANK YOU to Kathy Albro of Sparrow Breads and Karesha Sahali of K’s Urban Farm for all of their work last week for the Bremerton Brewfest! With their leadership, we raised close to $1,000 for our Fresh Bucks program!

Special Features —
Chef at the Market — with Chef Chris Plemmons of Olympic College. Demonstrations at 5:00pm and 6:00pm – showing how to simply prepare fresh produce from the market, using ingredients from our local farms!

Children’s Gardening Classes — This week, featuring Peter Rabbit’s (actually Mr. McGregor’s) Garden — with real rabbits and a read-aloud of The Tales of Peter Rabbit! Classes at 5:00pm and 6:00pm.

Read Up! Program — at the market this Summer, with read-aloud sessions, free books and giveaways for children from birth to age 8.

Fresh Bucks — in honor of our 10 years as a market, we are matching the first $10 for our SNAP / EBT customers at each market – giving them more access to fresh produce. Stop by the market booth to learn more about the program – and about how you can help!

WSU Master Gardener Booth — at the market to answer all your tough gardening questions.

Face Painting — just $2 for half-face or $5 for a whole-face, with all proceeds going to our Fresh Bucks program!!
