Harlow Gardens / Garden Bugs – Doug will have lots of lettuce, beet greens, kohlrabi, and maybe some squash, tomatoes, snow peas & loganberries (depending on the weather)!
Pheasant Fields Farm – From Nikki — It will be the last of the strawberries this week! I hate to see them go. Sugar snap peas – very delicious now since we have had sunshine! Purple kohlrabi will be coming to market – peel it and slice it thin and eat like a potato chip or use for dipping. Chopped up in green salad for a tasty treat. They have a sweet flavor and a texture of a turnip. AND pullet eggs — What are “pullet eggs?” These are small eggs that a newly laying chicken drops. They are delicious soft boiled – my favorite breakfast. We will have lots of them!
